Introduction 


In this article you will find the guide to implement ChildDiary in several Classrooms of your institution, ensuring the visibility of all communication with families and pedagogical documentation by the Directorate/Coordination.

Preparation



1- Create institutional account



This is the first step and is the basis of the configuration of your institution's account.


The Manager is responsible for this step and will create only ONE ACCOUNT which will be given the Management profile.
It is from the institutional account that educators and other professionals will be added.

Fill in this form to create the institution's master account.


Some notes:

  • Fill in the form to create the master account
  • You must use the institution's main email which will be associated to a "Management" profile

2- Add each of the classrooms/groups

We recommend that this step is done by those responsible for each room.

Some important notes:


  • For each child you can add multiple Family Members. 
  • You can add family members WITH access to ChildDiary, for Parents. When added they receive an email to set their password
  • You can add family members WITHOUT ChildDiary access, for other family members who may be authorized to check your child in or out at the institution.
  • See this Parent Kit. You can share it in its entirety, or just the documents you think you need.
